What is AIA Vitality?

  • AIA Vitality is a personalised, science-backed health and wellbeing program that supports you to make healthier choices. It helps you understand your current state of health, provides tools to improve your overall health, and offers incentives to keep you motivated on your wellbeing journey.

    With AIA Vitality, you're rewarded for making healthier choices. You can earn up to $760 every membership year in vouchers from AIA Vitality partners or cash into your CommBank account, including;

    • Up to $260 each membership year for reaching personalised physical activity targets each week; and
    • Up to $500 each membership year when you reach Points milestones on your way to achieving a higher AIA Vitality Status.

    Unlock AIA Vitality Status premium discounts:

    • Get and maintain discounts off your life insurance and income protection premiums by engaging in the program
    • A 5% annual discount maintained on your Health Insurance premium every year you reach AIA Vitality Silver Status or higher.

AIA Vitality Starter

AIA Vitality Starter is a health and wellbeing program available with Basic and Basic Plus Health Insurance policies. With AIA Vitality Starter, you can earn up to $260 each membership year for achieving active benefit targets.

With both programs, you start your journey on Bronze Status. As you make healthier choices and earn more Points you’ll move from Bronze to Silver, Gold and finally to Platinum.

You can earn AIA Vitality Points through things like increasing your physical activity or going for health checks. The more Points you earn, the higher your Status, and the greater the rewards.

How do I access AIA Vitality?

  1. Take out an eligible health insurance, life insurance, income protection, TPD cover, or trauma cover policy to access or attach AIA Vitality. Take out a Basic or Basic Plus health insurance policy for access to AIA Vitality Starter. Eligibility criteria may apply.3
  2. Activate your AIA Vitality membership with the email AIA send to you - just set a password.
  3. Start your AIA Vitality journey by downloading the AIA Vitality app from the App Store or Google Play.

Things you should know

  • 1 If at the time you are admitted into hospital, you have held an AIA Health policy for six months or more and have AIA Vitality Silver Status or above, you may be eligible for our Excess Refund benefit. The Excess Refund benefit payable for eligible hospital admissions is a refund of $250 (if you have a $500 Excess) or $500 (if you have a $750 Excess). No refund is available when claiming on the following clinical categories: cataracts, joint replacements, dialysis for chronic kidney failure, pregnancy and birth, assisted reproductive services, insulin pumps, pain management (with device) and sleep studies. 

    On percentage back ancillary products only and excluding dental treatments.

    Your Priority Protection (Life Cover, Income Protection, Total and Permanent Disablement or Crisis Recovery cover) policy must have an annual premium of $540 or higher to attach AIA Vitality.
